The Cuyahoga Land Bank and its non-profit subsidiary Land Bank Charities support underserved and at-risk populations across our communities by partnering with dozens of social service, faith-based and non-profit organizations that offer affordable housing, community stabilization, and skilled-training opportunities not otherwise supported by the market. The Land Bank identifies suitable vacant homes and donates them to mission-based organizations and faith institutions. The houses are then renovated with funds from their philanthropic networks to meet housing needs. Many of these home renovations are eligible for a Land Bank Charities matching grant.
