Cuyahoga Land Bank staff recently rolled up their sleeves and lent a hand at a Thrivent Financial and Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity-hosted Pastor’s Build in the Buckeye-Shaker community. The home, provided by the Cuyahoga Land Bank, had sat vacant and in disrepair for some time.

“After working so much behind the scenes, it was exhilarating to put my hands to work in a home that was once vacant and abandoned that will soon be a dream come true for a local family,” says Vatreisha Nyemba, Compliance and Program Development Manager at the Cuyahoga Land Bank. “One house at a time, neighborhoods and lives are transforming.”
