Restore our Neighborhoods Act 2013 Press Conference (Youtube)

The Cuyahoga Land Bank participated in a press conference held by US Representatives Dave Joyce, Marcia Fudge and Marcy Kaptur to announce the reintroduction/modification of the Restore our Neighborhoods Act. The bill would create funds for demolition through the issuance of $4 billion in US Treasury backed bonds, with $2 billion going to hard hit states like Ohio. This new version of the Restore our Neighborhoods Act also re-purposes formerly issued US “hardest hit” funds to allow for the use of these funds for demolition.
